At TripPrep Tools ("we", "our", or "us"), we believe your travel plans are your business. Our primary commitment is to a "privacy-first" architecture. We designed this site so that the vast majority of your data never leaves your device.
2. Local Storage Architecture
When you use our shared Trip Profile (including your travel dates, destinations, and preferences), that information is saved in your browser's Local Storage. It is not sent to our servers, not stored in our databases, and not sold to third parties.
3. Data We Collect (Automatically)
While we do not collect your personal travel data, we do collect standard web server logs and analytics to keep the site running. This includes:
- IP Addresses (anonymized where possible)
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and time spent on page
4. Third-Party Services and Advertisements
To keep our tools free, we use third-party services including Google AdSense and Google Analytics.
- Google AdSense: Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
- Google Analytics: We use this to understand site traffic. It sets a cookie in your browser.
5. Your Rights
Because your travel data is stored locally, you have complete control over it. You can delete it at any time by clicking "Clear Trip Data" in the My Trip panel, or by clearing your browser's cookies and site data.
